Badges: A Marketing Tool for Your App

If you’re an app developer on oneforty, the most helpful thing you can do for your app is encourage your users to leave reviews. This lets your fans persuade others to try your app, and it tells us that people are using it and liking it. As Mike explained in November, a good chunk of your app’s ranking is based on what users say about it.
To assist you in this effort, we’ve crated badges that you may use to direct your visitors to leave reviews. To add a badge to your web site, go to your dashboard and select “Manage Apps.” Under each of your apps, you will see a badges section as illustrated at the top of this post. To see all of your color options, click “Show more badges…” Next to each badge you will find a block of HTML that you can copy and paste into your web site to display that badge and link it to your oneforty app page. You are free to modify the images or text in any way you see fit. You are also free to download our images and host them on your own server if you prefer. If you want to make tweaks, you can grab the PSD.
